In her work, Ida Larsen explores possibilities of usual everyday materials. she focuses on how one material changes when combined with another. To do this, she has chosen a concrete and simple, almost minimal expression. She transforms materials into three dimensional objects, installations, photography, and video.

She has worked at several theaters as an assistant scenographer. At the municipality of Haidari, Athens, she gives art classes to children. The last years Ida Larsen has worked on the street art project, “surface”. Ηer works can be found all over Athens.
